O GAUGE DCC SOUND FILES for Dapol & Heljan Diesel Locomotives

When developing our sound files we have concentrated on producing an accurate and good sound that responds well to speed & driver input. Erroneous sounds that wound never be heard in the real world above the engine noise, such as fan and pump noise are inhibited with F1 on to give a good clean engine sound. There are also a number of automatic functions to reduce operator input, such as lights (park on when F1 off, rear lights off when coupled up) and spirex valves (on when coupled up with F1 off). Some files are available in freight and passenger versions, the main difference being either station announcements or shunting radio sound clips. The cost also includes some customisation, such as moving function numbers around and adding or removing minor features. Sound files are also matched to the type of speaker used. Smoke versions are also available. Acceleration and braking speeds are also realistic, so revese direction for an emergency stop!
